Keep your catches close

Photograph your fish, add a length and save the details in a private catch history.

Features in the testing build

  • Scene-depth endpoint measurement on supported iPhones, with manual length entry when depth measurement is unavailable.
  • Camera capture and photo import with preview, progress and pinch-to-zoom.
  • Manual species selection from 108 sourced fish-name records.
  • Catch photos, dates, notes and optional location, with search, filters, editing and deletion.
  • Local archive export and import for your catch records and photos.
  • A limited Yellowfin Bream weight estimate using the supported NSW fork-length relationship for 22–32 cm fish.

Free catch tools, optional AI planned

Measurement, manual species selection, saving, history, editing and local data tools remain free. Optional subscription-based cloud fish identification is implemented but not activated. No AI upload endpoint or purchasable subscription products are configured; no price or launch date is announced.

Private by default

Catch records and original photos stay on your device. No app account, analytics, advertising or app-operated cloud sync. You choose whether to attach location or share an exported archive. Device backups, requested Apple maps and cloud-only photo downloads may use Apple services.

Testing status

The project records version 1.0.0 (3) in internal TestFlight testing on 12 October 2026. Public App Review and release remain pending. Physical-device measurement accuracy and further device, privacy, accessibility and AI evaluation checks remain outstanding.

Personal reference only

Measurements, weight estimates, species suggestions and catch records are not legal catch documentation or proof of fishing-rule compliance, even when a measurement appears accurate. Verify species, size limits, protected species and local fishing rules independently. An ordinary photograph alone does not establish a fish's physical length.
